| A Taste of Summer 2010
Check out our growing list of courses for
this summer! Topics
include technology in the classroom, adolescent literacy, math,
differentiated instruction, field ecology and communication skills
in the classroom and beyond.
New this summer:
- Courses in “co-teaching” in which special educators and classroom
teachers work together to support all students
- A course exploring inquiry in the curriculum, with
a focus on science and math, but extending beyond those subject
areas
- Adolescent literacy, an often neglected issue
- Reading the Landscape, a core content science course
from Vermont Science Initiative
Many courses are offered 3 days in the summer with follow up
days in the fall to allow participants time to implement new learning
and reflect together on what they have learned.
