What's New

A Taste of Summer 2010

Check out our growing list of courses for this summer! Topics include technology in the classroom, adolescent literacy, math, differentiated instruction, field ecology and communication skills in the classroom and beyond.

New this summer:

  • Courses in “co-teaching” in which special educators and classroom teachers work together to support all students
  • A course exploring inquiry in the curriculum, with a focus on science and math, but extending beyond those subject areas
  • Adolescent literacy, an often neglected issue
  • Reading the Landscape, a core content science course from Vermont Science Initiative

Many courses are offered 3 days in the summer with follow up days in the fall to allow participants time to implement new learning and reflect together on what they have learned.

For more information about these opportunities, full descriptions, faculty bios, and to register, please go to Courses and Workshops.  Call 802-257-8600 or 866-889-0042 with any questions.

Have you signed our Guestbook? Do so today and we will remind you of upcoming events, giving you a first chance to register for a course or to put an event on your own calendar.

Collaborative course prices are as low as possible and with no difference for out-of-state educators!

When graduate credit is offered, there is no difference in fees for New Hampshire or Massachusetts residents for courses offered directly by the Collaborative.

Check with us if you have questions about this policy, which applies to courses in which the credit granting institution is a public university or college. Private colleges do not differentiate between in-state and out-of-state residents.
