A DOZEN LEARNING OPPORTUNITIES STILL AVAILABLE
BEGINNING SUMMER 2009!

The Southeast Vermont Learning Collaborative serves eleven supervisory unions in Windham and Windsor counties and one in Orange County. From the eastern slope of the Green Mountains to the Connecticut River valley, our region runs from Vershire in the north to the Massachusetts line. We are one of six Educational Service Agencies serving regions of Vermont. We are committed to high quality professional development for educators throughout our region. We support the sharing of all learning resources from a single book or video to organized presentations that take advantage of the many skills of teachers throughout this area.

The Collaborative provides:

• Summer and extended courses and other professional learning opportunities

• Planning /facilitation of professional development programs, study groups and professional      learning communities based on school district requests
• Networking among many regional organizations to facilitate lifelong learning opportunities           and the availability of other resources
• An extensive education lending library
• A collection of classroom science and history kits
• A video library including both classroom videos and professional development tapes

At our Dummerston Center, we are able to provide access to our three meeting areas for small or large group sessions. The Collaborative is funded by the member supervisory unions, by a grant from the Vermont Department of Education and by private donations. We are a non-profit, 501(c )(3) corporation, founded specifically to carry out this work.

The Collaborative offers various payment options for courses and workshops: personal checks, employer-issued purchase orders, and secure credit card payments processed by PayPal. Full details appear on the Register page.
